I was looking through my Good Housekeeping magazine and found this! It is a Turtle Pumpkin Pie! The recipe can be found in kraftfoods website. I am always looking for new and yummy recipes to try, and can't wait to try this one.

I added "my etsy favorites" to my blog. You can find it on the right of the screen, you might have to scroll down a little (it's under my facebook badge). When I am in etsy it is a lot of fun to browse all the different types of items sellers have. So, I thought it would be neat to share my favorites with my readers.
I will also be doing another post of items from my facebook friends I am finding! Check out my first post on that (a couple of posts down), I found some really neat stuff!

Okay...so I think I fixed the whole "comments" issue. A lot of people have been letting me know they have been having issues when leaving a comment on my blog, and I had no idea what to do. Thanks to some fellow etsy friends I think I have finally fixed the problem. Although I will not know for sure until someone tries, I really do hope it works now. If you are reading this, please try to leave a comment so I will know whether or not I know what I am doing (ha ha)!

Let's Bake Up Somethin' Good

Yep, I am on a baking craze! With the holidays coming up I find myself wanting to be in the kitchen baking more than we can give out and eat ourselves!! But, it sure is fun. Angel Bracelets

I am so excited to have finally started listing my angel bracelets in my etsy shop!

These angel bracelets have been a best seller at a lot of the craft shows I have been in.

I seen the angel and knew it would be real pretty to wear as a bracelet. The angel is made from swarovski pearls, pewter angel wings, and a crystal rondelle for her halo. I surround the angel with czech fire polished glass in a wide variety of colors spaced with seed beads. I have made these bracelets in almost any color you could imagine.

I really wanted to add an extra special touch to the bracelet design, so I decided on charms. I found my "believe" charms and it just works. I also put my signature "made with love" charm on the bracelet. I believe the words on the charms add a little bit more of meaning to the bracelet.

I have listed a few of the colors I have made. Still more to come. I also take special requests on my angel bracelets. If there is a certain color you want or a specific size you need, just let me know. I would love to make one especially for you. These make a great gift as well, so keep me in mind for the holidays!

Havin' Fun & Learnin' Lots

Boy, isn't it so easy to just get hooked to the computer. I started my etsy shop and blog back in July, and now I am on the computer non stop. Well, not literally but it sure seems like it. Long, long nights and even early mornings just to get things done. And you know what I am actually having a ton of fun and learning a lot as I go. It is so easy to start searching for one thing and then winding up with a list of another 20 things I need to search for. Anybody else do that? I do have to limit the time I'm on the computer during the day, though; so I can actually have a life that is not run solely by the computer. It is definitely a balancing act! So much to explore I guess.

Oh yeah... almost forgot...I have had several people tell me they are having issues leaving comments on my blog...I'm curious if anyone can and if there is a certain way it needs to be done?? Who likes to scrapbook?

I totally love to scrapbook! Just found an awesome site on facebook for scrapbookers. http://www.facebook.com/scrapbookcom?ref=nf

But, I have a confession-
Though I really love to scrapbook, I find it hard to get started! Anyone with that same problem?

All my scrapbooking stuff is packed away in tubs, because of lack of room for a specific "scrapbooking area". So, I find it really hard to motivate myself to get all the tubs out and sort through everything (which seems to take forever) just to get started. And once I get started (which is then when the creative juices start flowing and I really start to love it) I make a mess of the kitchen. I mean paper and stickers and pictures and glue and on and on are all over. I really do like to have everything out so I can see what I have, so I don't miss out on certain things I bought years and years ago with an awesome plan in mind.

Aren't those awesome plans GREAT! You find a great deal or just a really cute item and you know it would work great for that certain page you've been trying to finish or START for, oh I don't know, months and months now and just never got around to it. Yep, awesome plan huh?

I really do love to scrapbook and I wish I had more time and more motivation to get started.

Well, it has been suggested to me that I try facebook!
I decided to go for it. I just got set up with a facebook account, and am not sure what to do. Trying to find time to get on the computer is hard, because I know once I get on it's hard for me to get off! That means I'm focused solely on the computer, and that's pretty much all. Forget the dishes, laundry and housework! Well, that does sound nice, but not a really good idea. I really do try to limit my computer time. It's just so addicting!
So hopefully all will go well with my new endeavor.

Hello!

Just a quick note to let you know I just got done adding more jewelry to my esty shop. I am going to be adding several more pieces within the week, so keep checking back. I hope to have several more bracelets, anklets, & necklaces. I hope to be adding my baby bracelets soon as well.

I'm curious to see how things go before I go crazy with listings. Not for sure if that is a wise decision, but for now it's the best one for me. If you have any comments regarding this please let me know.

About 3 years ago I started to participate in craft shows around my area. I really enjoy being able to meet everyone that shows interest in my jewelry. My jewelry designs have also been featured in various shops in my area. I now have decided, after being told over and over again by family and friends, to set up shop on the internet.

I make jewelry, jewelry, jewelry. I love jewelry! My whole life I have been around relatives that handmade jewelry and it has now inspired me to do the same. I first started out with simple beaded bracelets, and now I make everything! Baby jewelry, adult bracelets, anklets, necklaces, earrings, pendants, and rings. I also have enjoyed being able to expand my own jewelry collection in the process.

My newest designs are wire wrapped pendants, which I started learning how to make about 6 months ago. It takes some time for me to pick out everything to use in my wire wrapped pendants, because I am so picky. I have to have everything perfect. All the components in my pendants have to match and all the wire has to lay a certain way. I have to make sure the necklace cord goes with everything in the pendant. Although, some people prefer to wear them as a brooch versus a necklace; I like the fact that my pendants retain their beauty no matter how they are worn. The pictures below are a just a few of the many wire wrapped pendants I have made and sold. My pendants are one of a kind and I find it really hard to try to match a design already made, it's easier just to start new! Although, I usually can get stones that appear similar they all have their own characteristics. I love finishing the pendants off with beads strung on the wire that compliment each individual stone. Wire wrapped pendants are such a fun, creative way to step up the way you wear jewelry.

Everything I make is handmade with love and I find it very hard not to keep for my personal collection of jewelry.
